Abstract Submission Guidelines

The National Perinatal Association invites you to submit an abstract for consideration as a poster presentation at our annual conference.

Improving Access to Perinatal Care:

Confronting Disparities and Inequities in Maternal-Infant Health

Any abstract with a progressive approach to addressing inequities and improving access  is acceptable; however, we encourage those that address the multidisciplinary approach to supporting and caring for families.

Abstracts may describe contributions to theory, policy development, program development and evaluation, delivery of services, or research.

We are particularly interested in abstracts focusing on community-specific, family-centered, and culturally-informed approaches.

Priority will be given to abstracts that incorporate the role of families and self advocates in policy and service delivery. We highly encourage that every abstract include parents as partners and co-presenters.

We encourage the submission of abstracts previously presented at State Perinatal Associations meetings. Abstracts previously presented at other scientific conferences are also invited.

NOTE: Speakers and poster presenters register at our reduced rates.
