State Forum

The State Forum was developed in 1992 to engage and support individual state perinatal associations.  Any statewide perinatal organization can join NPA and collaborate with other state organizations and peers nationwide.

Through this forum, we promote:

  • Shared missions, visions & challenges

  • Engagement with existing national multidisciplinary collaborations

  • Engagement with other states’ maternal/fetal issues & resolutions

What is the State Forum?

The forum:

  • Provides an opportunity for state-based perinatal leaders to exchange ideas and discuss problems, including current areas of concern, statewide education & advocacy, & the operations of state organizations
  • Ensures a direct link between state associations and the leadership of NPA
  • Informs the agenda of NPA conferences
  • Promotes best practices
